What qualifies as a local cause?

Before the first community campaign, the community will identify a local cause to rally behind for the Challenge. A local cause can be eligible to receive a financial reward in the Save-To-Give Challenge if:

• the organization or entity is based in the community or has strong support from the community
• the organization or entity can explain how the funds will be used to benefit the greater community
• the organization or entity is not-for-profit or 501c3
• can recruit a minimum of 20 participants to support their cause
• the organization or entity does not employ the Community Point Person
