If your community is accepted for the pilot, the Focus on Energy team will contact the Community Point Person to discuss responsibilities and timeline going forward as part of the agreement to participate before coordinating two planning workshops for the “Save-To-Give” campaigns. During these two workshops, important community stakeholders and residents will convene virtually to identify the local cause for the Challenge as well as important communication channels, events, stakeholders, and trusted messengers in the community to engage during the Challenge.
Following these workshops, the Focus on Energy team will work closely with the utility/ies, the Community Point Person, trusted messengers, and local causes to educate and engage residents in participating in diverse and fun energy-saving activities that earn points toward the chosen cause.
