Direct Income-Qualified Eligibility

We are rolling out a new method for verifying your income eligibility with FOCUS ON ENERGY®. If you currently are eligible for additional assistance through one of the below resources, you can verify your eligibility with Focus on Energy by submitting proof of your existing eligibility.

Eligible Resources:

• SNAP/FoodShare - Award letter or online statement from MyACCESS or access.wisconsin.gov
• W2-TANF - Award notification
• SSI (Supplemental Security Income) - Award letter or most recent bank statement. NOTE - this is not the same as SSA (Social Security)
• Wisconsin Energy Assistance/Home Energy Plus+ - Award letter
• Homestead Tax Credit - All pages from tax form
• Wisconsin Head Start - Award letter
• WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) - Acceptance from online account
• BadgerCare Plus - Award letter or online statement from MyACCESS or access.wisconsin.gov
• Medicaid - Award letter or online statement from MyACCESS or access.wisconsin.gov
• SeniorCare (Level 1, 2A or 2B only) - Award letter
• School Lunch Program - Award Letter
