Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) is the measure of cooling efficiency of geothermal heat pumps. EER is measured only at specific conditions, but provides a good idea of the overall efficiency of the heat pump over the entire cooling season. A higher EER indicates better savings in cooling mode.
