What is low-E?

Low-E stands for low-emissivity. It is an extremely durable coating on glass that minimizes the amount of infrared and ultraviolet energy that can pass through, without compromising the amount of visible light that shines in. The coating itself is 1/100th the thickness of a human hair, but it has a huge impact on keeping your home comfortable!
